1. Earth's Rotation Day (08 January)
English: Every year on 08 January, 'Earth's Rotation Day' is celebrated globally. This day provides an opportunity to understand Earth's rotational motion and its environmental effects.
Hindi: हर वर्ष 08 जनवरी को दुनियाभर में 'पृथ्वी परिभ्रमण दिवस' मनाया जाता है। यह दिन हमें पृथ्वी की घूर्णन गति और उसके पर्यावरणीय प्रभावों को समझने का अवसर प्रदान करता है।
2. India Open Badminton Tournament (14 January)
English: The 'India Open Badminton Tournament' will be organized in Delhi from January 14. A total of 21 Indian players, including men's and women's singles, doubles, and mixed doubles pairs, will participate.

7. New ISRO Chairman Appointment (14 January)
English: The Union Cabinet's Appointments Committee appointed senior space scientist V. Narayanan as the new chairman of ISRO, replacing S. Somnath, effective January 14.

English: Padma Shri awardee and former Asian Games champion Bahadur Singh Sagoo was elected as the new president of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). He will serve a four-year term.
