Informations : The Indian Air Force (IAF) is accepting online applications for AFCAT 01/2025 and NCC Special Entry for commissioning as officers in Flying and Ground Duty branches (Technical & Non-Technical). Eligible candidates, both male and female, can apply through the official AFCAT portal at afcat.cdac.in from December 2, 2024, to December 31, 2024, for courses beginning in January 2026.

Age Limitation

  • Age As On : 01 January 2026   ( Age Calculator )
  • Flying Branch: Age 20 to 24 years, born between January 2, 2002, and January 1, 2006 (inclusive).
  • Ground Duty: Age 20 to 26 years, born between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2006 (inclusive).

Application Fee

  • All Candidate  : Rs.500/-
  • For NCC Special Entry : Rs.0/-
  • Payment Mode: Pay the Examination Fee Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking Fee Mode.

Educational Qualifications

  • Flying Branch: A minimum of 50% marks in each of Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level and a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent.  OR  A BE/BTech degree with 60% marks or equivalent.
  • Ground Duty (Technical): A 4-year degree qualification in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks and passed Sections A and B of AMIE or equivalent.
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): A graduate degree with at least 60% marks in any discipline (as specified for individual posts).
