Mandatory Medical Standards

 The general medical standards for Agniveervayu Non-Combatant are as follows:

1. Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.
2. Chest: Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm.
3. Weight: Should be proportionate to height and age.
4. Vision: Must meet the vision requirements as per Indian Air Force standards.
5. Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing, able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
6. Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
7. General Health: Candidates should have normal anatomy without any loss or deformity of appendages. They should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic medical or surgical disability, infection, or skin ailments. Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties in any part of the world, under any climate and terrain.

General Disqualifications

• Consumption of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS): The consumption of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances banned under the NDPS Act 1985 is grounds for rejection from the IAF. Agniveervayu Non-Combatants found in possession, storing, distributing, or consuming such substances after enrolment will face disciplinary action, including dismissal from the IAF. The IAF strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards alcoholism and substance abuse.

• Body Tattoos: Permanent body tattoos are generally not permitted. Exceptions may be made for tattoos on the inner forearms (from the inside of the elbow to the wrist), the back of the hand (dorsal side), or for tribal tattoos that are in accordance with the customs and traditions of their tribes. However, the final decision regarding the acceptability of a tattoo rests with the Selection Centre. Candidates with permanent body tattoos must submit two photographs (close-up and distant view) along with details of the tattoo's size and type during the second phase of the Selection Test.

How to Fill the Air Force Agniveervayu Hospitality & Housekeeping Intake 01/2025 Offline Form

  • Recruitment Notification: The Indian Air Force has released the notification for the Agniveervayu Hospitality & Housekeeping Non-Combatant Intake 01/2025 Recruitment 2024. Interested candidates can apply offline as per the schedule provided in the notification.

  • Photo Instructions: The photograph should be taken with the candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest, with his name and the date the photograph was taken clearly written on it in capital letters using white chalk.
