Informations : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the online application process for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. This exam is conducted for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools across India for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible Indian students can submit their applications online via the official NTA AISSEE portal at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE between 24th December 2024 and 13th January 2025.

Age Limitation
- Age As On : 31 March 2025 ( Age Calculator )
- Class 6: Students born between 1st April 2013 and 31st March 2015 (aged 10-12 years as of 31st March 2025) are eligible.
- Class 9: Students born between 1st April 2010 and 31st March 2012 (aged 13-15 years as of 31st March 2025) are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
For Admission to Sainik Schools - Class VI:
- Candidates must be between 10 and 12 years of age as of 31st March 2025. This means they should have been born between 1st April 2013 and 31st March 2015 (both dates inclusive).
- Admission is open to both boys and girls, with the same age criteria applying to both.
For Admission to Sainik Schools - Class IX:
- Candidates must be between 13 and 15 years of age as of 31st March 2025. They should have been born between 1st April 2010 and 31st March 2012 (both dates inclusive).
- Admission is open to both boys and girls, subject to vacancy availability for girls.
- Applicants must have passed the Class VIII examination from a recognized school at the time of admission.
For Admission to Approved New Sainik Schools (Class VI & Class IX):

Required Documents
The following documents are required during the submission of the online application form:
- Candidate’s Photograph: Scanned image in JPG format (file size: 10kb - 200kb).
- Candidate’s Signature: Scanned image in JPG format (file size: 4kb - 30kb).
- Left-hand Thumb Impression: Scanned image in JPG format (file size: 10kb - 50kb). If the left thumb is unavailable, the right-hand thumb impression may be used.
- Date of Birth Certificate: Issued by a Competent Authority.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Caste/Community/Category Certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate of Service: For Defence category applicants (serving personnel) or PPO for ex-servicemen, if applicable.
- Certificate from the Principal: Certifying that the applicant is currently studying in an approved New Sainik School (applicable only to those enrolled in these schools).
- All certificates must be uploaded in PDF format with a file size between 50kb and 300kb.
