Informations : The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has recently opened the online counseling and choice filling process for BCECE (LE) 2024, which allows lateral entry into the second year of graduate-level Engineering, Para-Medical, and Pharmacy courses. All registered candidates are now eligible to apply for online counseling and make their course choices through the link provided below.

Education Qualification

  • Engineering Course Group: Candidates must have passed a minimum of a three-year or two-year (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination in any branch of Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates). Alternatively, candidates who have obtained a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university, with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) and have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject are also eligible. Those who have completed a D.Voc. in the same or allied sector may apply as well.
    (Note: Universities may offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Drawing for students coming from diverse backgrounds to help them achieve the desired learning outcomes of the program).

 

  • Para-Medical Degree Course Group: Candidates must have passed a two-year Para-Medical Diploma course recognized by the Government of Bihar or the Government of India to be eligible for enrollment in the Para-Medical Degree Course through this competitive examination. Candidates appearing for the final examination of the two-year Para-Medical Diploma course can also apply, provided they have passed by the time of the interview/counseling. Candidates will be eligible for enrollment in the second year of the higher para-medical degree course related to the para-medical diploma they have passed. If a higher para-medical degree course is not available in their field of study, they will not be eligible to appear in this lateral entry examination.

 

  • Pharmacy Degree Course Group: Candidates must have completed a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of Bihar or the Government of India to qualify for enrollment in the Pharmacy Degree Course through this competitive examination. Candidates who are in their final year of the two-year Pharmacy Diploma course can also apply, but they must have passed by the time of the interview/counseling.
