Eligibility Criteria For CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Eligibility Criteria For CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)

• Graduation and passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name).

• At least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed., as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).

• Any candidate with a B.Ed. degree recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. As per TET guidelines (NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011), a candidate pursuing a teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI) is also eligible for TET/CTET.

• Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

Steps to Fill CTET December 2024 Online Application Form:

1. 1. Application Window: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened online applications for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for both Paper I (Classes I to V) and Paper II (Classes VI to VIII) for the December 2024 session. Interested candidates can apply online from 17th September 2024 to 16th October 2024.

   2. Exam Center Availability: This year, the number of exam centers in each city is limited. Candidates will be able to see live information about available centers while filling out the form. To secure your preferred exam city or center, it is recommended to apply as early as possible, as slots are limited.

   3. Read the Notification: Before applying, make sure to thoroughly read the official notification for all details regarding the CTET December 2024 exam.

   4. Document Collection: Ensure that you have gathered all the necessary documents including your eligibility certificates, ID proof, address details, and other basic details before starting the application process.

   5. Scanned Documents: Keep ready scanned copies of all required documents such as your photograph, signature, and ID proof for uploading during the form submission.

   6. Preview Before Submission: Before final submission, review your application form carefully. Check every section and column to make sure all the information is accurate and complete.

   7. Payment of Application Fee: If the application fee is required, ensure that you submit it to complete the process. Without payment, your form will be considered incomplete.

   8. Print Confirmation: After successfully submitting the form, take a printout of the final submitted application for your records.
