  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) in the relevant subject from a recognized university or college.

ITBP Assistant Surgeon Physical Standard Test 2024

Gender Height Chest Weight
Male 157.5 cm 77-82 cm Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Female 142 cm* Not Applicable Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
  • As prescribed for the post of Medical Officer by MHA vide letter No. I-45223/1/2012/Pers-II dated 11/02/2012.
  • Note: Height is relaxable by 2 cm for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, and Marathas, and by 3 cm for Adivasis.
