Syllabus

  • Written Examination (100 Marks):
    • Candidates who pass the Physical Standard Test will be required to take a written examination. Admit cards for the written exam will be issued online, specifying the date and venue. Candidates must download their admit cards from the ITBPF recruitment website: [https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in](https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in).
    • The written examination, which carries 100 marks, will consist of objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The format of the written test—whether OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBT)—will be determined by ITBPF at their discretion. The pattern of the question paper for the OMR/CBT-based examination will be as follows:

  • No. of Questions: 25 per subject
  • Total Marks: 25 per subject
  • Time: 2 Hours

    • Veterinary Medicine and Treatment

    • General Awareness: 5 Questions

    • General English: 5 Questions
    • General Hindi: 5 Questions
    • Veterinary Medicine and Treatment: 80 Questions
  • Total Marks: Same as the number of questions for each subject
  • Time: 2 Hours

    • Dog Handling/Kennel Management
  • No. of Questions:
    • General Awareness: 5 Questions
    • Quantitative Aptitude/Reasoning: 5 Questions
    • General English/Hindi: 10 Questions
    • Dog Handling/Kennel Management: 80 Questions
  • Total Marks: Same as the number of questions for each subject
  • Time: 2 Hours

    Note:

  • The minimum qualifying percentage for the written examination is as follows:  
  • For UR/OBC (NCL)/EWS & Ex-Servicemen: 35%  
  • For SC/ST: 33%  

Requests for re-evaluation, re-checking of the answer sheet, or re-conducting the written examination will not be considered. Additionally, there will be no negative marking in the Written Examination.
