Eligibility Qualification

1. Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent:
   • Passed with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized Central, State, or UT Board.
   • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.    OR
2. Three-Year Diploma:
   • Completed in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or IT) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute.
   • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (either in the Diploma or Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not part of the Diploma).   OR
3. Two-Year Vocational Course:
   • Passed with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics from a recognized Board.
   • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (either in the Vocational Course or Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not part of the Vocational Course).

1. Dual Eligibility:
   • Candidates meeting the criteria for Science Subjects can also appear for the Other Than Science Subjects exam. They can choose to attempt both in one sitting during online registration.
2. Recognition of Boards:
   • Only Education Boards recognized by Central, State, or UT authorities at the time of registration will be considered.
3. Mark Calculation:
   • Aggregate percentage will be as per the marksheet (no rounding off). For example, 49.99% will be considered 49%, not 50%.

General Medical Standards

• Height:

  • Male: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.
  • Female: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.

• Chest:

  • Male: Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm, with at least 5 cm of expansion.
  • Female: The chest wall should be well-proportioned and developed, with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

• Weight: Should be proportionate to height and age.

• Vision: Corneal surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. Visual standards must meet Indian Air Force requirements.

• Hearing: Candidates must have normal hearing and be able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters with each ear separately.

• Dental: Candidates should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and at least 14 dental points.

• General Health:

  • Should have normal anatomy without the loss of any appendages.
  • Must be free from active or latent, acute or chronic medical or surgical conditions, infections, or skin ailments.
  • Should be physically and mentally fit to serve in any climate or terrain worldwide.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• Candidates must meet the stipulated requirements for each exercise to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
