• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks in all semesters/years.
• Mathematics and Physics as subjects in the 10+2 level examination.

• BE/B.Tech in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, or Aerospace with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Mathematics and Physics as subjects in the 10+2 level examination.

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication, Power Engineering, or Power Electronics with a minimum of 60% marks.

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (AC) Medical Standards

a) Height:

• Minimum height of 157 cm is required for Assistant Commandant (GD) and Technical branches.
• Relaxation in height for candidates from hilly and tribal regions will be as per Central Government regulations.

b) Weight:

• Must be proportionate to height and age.
• A deviation of up to +10% is acceptable.

c) Chest:

• Should be well-proportioned with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

d) Eye Sight:

• Assistant Commandant (GD):
  • Uncorrected: 6/6, 6/9 without glasses.
  • Corrected: 6/6, 6/6 with glasses.
• Assistant Commandant (Technical - Male):
  • Uncorrected: 6/36, 6/36 without glasses.
  • Corrected: 6/6, 6/6 with glasses.

• Assistant Commandant: Pay Level 10, ₹56,100/-
• Deputy Commandant: Pay Level 11, ₹67,700/-
• Commandant (JG): Pay Level 12, ₹78,800/-
• Commandant: Pay Level 13, ₹1,23,100/-
• Deputy Inspector General: Pay Level 13A, ₹1,31,100/-
• Inspector General: Pay Level 14, ₹1,44,200/-
