Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Written Test.

1. The question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and objective type, comprising 100 questions divided into four sections (English, Science, Biology and General Awareness/ Reasoning Ability) of 25 marks each.
   
2. The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 level and the syllabus for the examination is available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
   
3. Duration of examination will be one hour.
   
4. The candidates are required to pass in all sections as well as in aggregate. The Indian Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate

Medical Standards.

1. Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical stand- ards prescribed in current regulations applicable on entry.
   
2. Physical Standards. Minimum height required is 157 cms. Minimum chest expansion of 5 cms. Details regarding height and weight standards for entry into the Indian Navy as Sailors, including applicable relaxations, can be accessed from the official recruitment website.
   
3. Tattoos. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reversed side of palm/ back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from recruit ment.
   
4. The candidate must be in good physical and mental health, free from any disease/ disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties both ashore and afloat under peace as well as war conditions.

How to Apply for Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Online Form 2024

1. Application Period: Candidates interested in joining the Indian Navy as SSR Medical Assistants for the 02/2024 November Batch can apply online between September 7, 2024, and September 17, 2024.

2. Photo Requirements: The candidate's photograph must be taken after April 2024 with a light background. The candidate’s name and the date of the photograph should be clearly written in capital letters on a black slate held in front of the chest.
