Informations : The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced the Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024 for Varg 3, targeting candidates interested in teaching classes 1 to 5. Eligible candidates are invited to submit their online applications through the official MPESB website at esb.mp.gov.in. The application window will open on October 1, 2024, and will remain available until October 15, 2024. Those who are interested in pursuing a career in primary education are encouraged to apply for the MP TET 2024 within the specified dates.

Eligibility Criteria

 

Candidates applying for the Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024 must meet one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent.
  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Pedagogy, in accordance with the 2002 NCTE (Recognition, Standards, and Procedures) Regulations.
  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree.
  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Special Education (Pedagogy).
  • A graduation degree and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent.

Important Notes:

  • Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/Disabled) will receive up to a 5% relaxation in the required educational qualification marks.
  • For primary teacher (Sanskrit) positions at Sanskrit Pathshalas, candidates must have Uttar Madhyama from a recognized institution/board with subjects like Sanskrit literature or grammar. Additionally, a D.El.Ed qualification in professional education is mandatory.
  • As per the Supreme Court ruling on 11th August 2023, candidates with a B.Ed qualification are not eligible to apply.
