Eligibility

TGT Arts:

• Bachelor's degree in Arts/Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) degree with two school subjects, having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and B.Ed/3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
  OR
• A four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. with two school subjects, having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates).

TGT Science (PCM) / TGT Science (CBZ):

• Bachelor's degree in Science/B.Tech/B.E. with two school subjects, having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and B.Ed/3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
  OR
• A four-year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with two school subjects, having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates).

Telugu Teacher:

• Bachelor's degree in Arts with Telugu as a subject, having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and Telugu B.Ed./B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Classical (Sanskrit) Teacher:

1. Bachelor's degree with Sanskrit as an elective/optional/Hons/pass subject, having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) or B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution.
   OR
2. Shastri in Sanskrit with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) or B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Hindi Teacher:

1. Bachelor's degree with Hindi as an elective/optional/Hons/pass subject, having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and one of the following training qualifications:
   • Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
   • B.H.Ed. course.
   • B.Ed in Hindi from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.
   • B.Ed.

OR
2. Bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and one of the following qualifications:

• Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha.
• Shastri (Hindi) from Orissa Rastrabhasa Parishad, Puri.
• Snataka (Acquired by June 2005, the date until which temporary recognition was granted) from Hindi Shiksha Samiti, Orissa, Cuttack, and one of the following training qualifications:
  • Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
  • B.H.Ed.
  • B.Ed. in Hindi from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.
  • B.Ed.

Urdu Teacher:

1. Alim/Fazil with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and B.Ed/Urdu B.Ed.
   OR
2. B.A. (Persian) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates), and B.Ed/Urdu B.Ed.

Physical Education Teacher:

• +2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution, and C.P.Ed./D.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed from a recognized Board/University.
