Application Fee

• Pay the Exam Fee Through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking Fee Mode Only.

Eligibility

• GATE 2024 Score Requirement:

  • Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2024 with Paper Code: EE, conducted by IISc, Bangalore.
  • The GATE 2024 score (normalized marks out of 100) should be provided during the application process.
  • The qualifying marks set by the GATE 2024 Organizing Body will be considered and verified by OPTCL with the original GATE results.
  • Any discrepancy in the GATE score or details will lead to the rejection of the application.

• Essential Qualification:

  • Course: Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
    • Alternatively, passing of Section-A & B of IE (India) in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Percentage of Marks:
    • A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA is required.
    • For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the minimum required marks are 50%.

• Eligibility Note:

  • Only candidates who meet these qualifications as of November 21, 2024 (the last date of application), are eligible to apply.

Pay Scale

• Pay Scale : Rs.56,100 - Rs.1,77,500 (Level EE-2) with Initial Basic Pay of Rs.56,100/- after completion of the one-year training period. , During the training period they shall be paid a stipend of Rs.50,000/-
