How to Apply Online

  Here’s the step-by-step process for applying online to the High Court of Punjab and Haryana:

1. Read Notification: Click on the “Apply online” button on the High Court’s online application portal after carefully reading the notification/advertisement and caution notice to ensure you are eligible to apply.

2. Registration: On clicking “Apply online,” you will be taken to the registration page where you need to fill in the required details such as Name, Category, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile Number, and E‐mail Id. SC/ST/BC category candidates from other states/UT will be treated as General Category.

3. Review Details: After filling out the registration page, double-check all the details before clicking “Submit & Proceed to Applicant Login.” No changes will be allowed after submission. Upon submission, a unique registration/application number will be generated, and you will receive an OTP REGAPPL registration number via SMS/E‐Mail, which you will use along with your date of birth (DOB) for further representations and login purposes.

4. Payment: After registration, click on the “Applicant Login” button in the portal, which will redirect you to the Payment Stage/Payment Gateway. Pay the application fee as per the notification/advertisement.

5. Complete Form: After successful payment, you will be able to continue and fill in the remaining personal details, academic details, upload scanned images (as per the specified size and format), and complete the form.

6. Review and Edit: After filling in all the fields and uploading the necessary documents, an edit option is provided. Review your entire application and make any necessary changes before final submission.

7. Final Declaration: Check the final declaration box to confirm that all the details entered are valid and correct to the best of your knowledge.

8. Download Application: Upon submission of the online application, download the filled application form by clicking on the PRINT APPLICATION button for your records and future reference.

9. Multiple Applications: Apply carefully, as multiple applications/registrations will be summarily rejected. Only the latest application with fee payment will be accepted. Note that the fee once paid is non-refundable.

10. Photo & Signature Upload: Upload a recent, clear color photo (not older than 30 days) along with the image of your signature. Ensure the following before clicking the 'Applicant Login' button:

• • Latest/recent color photo (maximum 50 kb) in jpg format.
  • Signature (maximum 50 kb) in jpg format.
  • Personal details
  • Valid and active E‐Mail Id
  • Valid and active mobile number for receiving SMS alerts
  • Online payment facility (net banking, debit/credit card, UPI, etc.)
