Informations : The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has opened online applications for the recruitment of 5647 apprentices in various trades under the Apprentices Act 1961. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, nfr.indianrailways.gov.in, between 4th November and 3rd December 2024 for the NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2024.

Eligibility Criteria Details

Educational Requirements:

  • For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology) and Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology): Applicants should have completed Class 12 under the 10+2 system, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and must have scored at least 50% overall. Candidates must upload their Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates, showing Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, for these two technician roles.

  • For All Other Trades:

    • Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent under the 10+2 system, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized board, and

    • Should hold a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or a provisional certificate from either the National or State Council for Vocational Training.

Note: The 50% minimum aggregate requirement in Class 10 does not apply to candidates from SC, ST, and PwBD categories.
