Informations : The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the Group D Recruitment 2024 for approximately 32,000 vacancies across various posts. Candidates who have completed their 10th standard or hold an ITI certificate are eligible to apply. The online application process will commence on 23rd January 2025 and will remain open until 22nd February 2025, with the deadline set at 11:59 PM. Additionally, a correction window for application form edits will be available from 23rd February to 1st March 2025.

Eligibility

  • Must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board.
  • OR Candidates with an ITI certificate from a recognized institute are also eligible.

  • Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

 

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

 

Category Criteria
Male Candidates
  • Must lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting it down. - Should be able to run 1000 meters (1 km) in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
Female Candidates
  • Must lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting it down. - Should be able to run 1000 meters (1 km) in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
PWD Candidates
  • Exempted from PET but need to pass the medical examination.

Notes:

  • The PET will only be conducted for candidates who qualify in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • The final selection will depend on qualifying PET and the document verification process.

  • Pay Scale : Level - 1 of  7th CPC Pay Matrix, Initial Pay Rs. 18000/-
