West Bengal Online Application for Scholarship in Studies Scholarship 2024-25

Informations : The Government of West Bengal's Backward Classes Welfare Department and Tribal Development Department have opened online applications for the Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic session. Eligible students can apply for these scholarships via the OASIS (Online Application for Scholarship in Studies) portal at oasis.gov.in, starting from 12th August 2024. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply for the WB Scholarship Scheme 2024.

OASIS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2024  Residents of West Bengal who meet the specified conditions are eligible to apply for the OASIS scholarship, aimed at supporting economically disadvantaged students in pursuing higher education. The eligibility requirements for the pre-matric and post-matric scholarship schemes under the OASIS program are outlined below:  Pre-Matric OASIS Scholarship  This scholarship is available to students from the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories. The eligibility conditions are: Applicants must belong to the SC or ST category. Students studying in Class IX or X are eligible to apply. The annual family income should not exceed INR 2,00,000.  Post-Matric OASIS Scholarship  Students from SC, ST, and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories enrolled in Class XI or above can apply for the post-matric scholarship. The criteria include: Applicants must be from the SC, ST, or OBC categories. The scholarship is open to students from Class XI up to the postgraduate level. The annual family income for SC/ST students should not exceed INR 2,50,000. The annual family income for OBC students should not exceed INR 1,00,000.
